Part 1: Using This Tool
Step 1: Upload Your Invoice
Click the "upload others" button for simple invoices, or "upload Carters" for complex ones. The text will appear in the box on the left.
Step 2: Add Your Markup
In the box labeled "Enter Markup Percentage", type the percentage you want to add to the prices (e.g., `7` for 7%).
Step 3: Fill in Invoice Details
On the right, fill in the customer's name, invoice number, and dates. The Account Code and Tax Type are set for you.
Step 4: Generate and Download
Click the big blue "Generate & Download CSV" button. A file will save to your computer's "Downloads" folder.
Part 2: Uploading the File to Xero
Step 5: Check Your Contacts in Xero
Make sure your client is set up as a contact in Xero. You can check or add new contacts here:

Step 6: Go to the Xero Import Page
Log in to Xero, then use this direct link to get to the right page:

Step 7: Upload the File
On the Xero page, scroll to Step 3 and click the "Browse" button. Select the CSV file you just downloaded. The file name will be `[ContactName]_[InvoiceNumber].csv`.
Step 8: Complete the Import
On the final import confirmation page, make sure the dropdown for **"Amounts are"** is set to **"Tax Exclusive"**. Then click the green "Import" button.
Step 9: Check Your Draft Invoice
Your new invoice will be waiting in your "Drafts" tab in Xero. You can click on it to check the details before sending.
